Last updated 1 October 2026This policy explains how Frieda ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit this website, request a demo or use the Frieda platform. We process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible
The controller for this website is BIT s. r. o., Športová 506/19, 916 01 Stará Turá, Slovakia (Company ID 53044312), the company behind Frieda. You can reach our data protection contact at hello@hirefrieda.com.
2. Data we collect
- Contact details you give us, such as your name and work email when you request a demo.
- Usage data, such as pages visited, browser type and approximate location, collected through privacy-friendly analytics.
- Platform data our customers upload, such as job descriptions and candidate profiles. For this data we act as a processor (see our DPA).
3. Why we use it
- To reply to your demo request and book a time with you (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To provide and improve the Frieda platform (contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure and working (legitimate interest).
4. How long we keep it
We keep demo-request data for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer. Usage data is kept in aggregated form only.
5. Who we share it with
We use carefully selected service providers for hosting, email and analytics. They process data only on our instructions. Where data leaves the EU/EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to processing, or restrict it. Email hello@hirefrieda.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
